1. Agreement Scope & Company Identity

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the traveler, client, or tour group) and Lanka Cab Travels (https://lankacabtravels.com), operating from 477/1 Nungamugoda Rd, Kelaniya 11600, Sri Lanka.

By scheduling a private driver, airport transfer, day excursion, or multi-day custom itinerary with Lanka Cab Travels, you agree to the conditions outlined herein. Our terms have been drafted in alignment with international tourism standards to guarantee complete transparency, zero financial risk for travelers, and exceptional service delivery.

2. Booking Policy (Online & WhatsApp)

We provide seamless, hassle-free booking channels for international visitors:

• Direct Online Booking: Reservations can be submitted 24/7 through our interactive booking form at lankacabtravels.com/booking.html.
• Instant WhatsApp Concierge: Travelers can book or customize itineraries immediately via our official WhatsApp channel at +94 72 172 2727.
• Booking Confirmation: Upon receiving your details, our team issues a written booking voucher including your route itinerary, quoted all-inclusive price, assigned vehicle specifications, and chauffeur contact details.

3. Payment Terms: Zero Advance Prepayment Required

Payment terms are structured for complete tourist convenience:

• Payment at Destination / Upon Completion: For airport transfers, payment is made directly to your chauffeur upon arrival at your drop-off resort or hotel. For multi-day tours, payment is settled upon trip commencement or distributed amicably across the journey as agreed in your voucher.
• Accepted Currencies: You may pay in cash directly to your chauffeur using Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR), US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), or British Pounds (GBP) based on the fair central bank exchange rate on the date of travel.
• Alternative Payment Methods: Direct bank transfers, local card processing, or digital invoices can be arranged in advance upon request.
• Transparent All-Inclusive Pricing: All quotes provided by Lanka Cab Travels are fixed and all-inclusive. Quoted fares cover fuel, vehicle maintenance, air conditioning, expressway highway tolls, passenger seat insurance, and driver meals/accommodations. No hidden surcharges ever.

4. Cancellation Policy: 100% Free Cancellation

• Notice Period: We appreciate a simple WhatsApp message or email notification at least 12 to 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup whenever possible.
• Flight Disruptions: In the event of airline route cancellations, illness, or emergency travel changes, cancellations are accepted immediately without any financial penalty.
• Free Itinerary Adjustments: Need to change pickup times, modify drop-off locations, or upgrade vehicle class? All modifications are processed complimentary, with price adjustments reflecting only direct mileage differences.

5. Flight Delays & Complimentary BIA Flight Tracking

Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB / BIA) transfers come with our built-in flight arrival guarantee:

• Complimentary Live Radar Tracking: Our dispatch team monitors your incoming flight in real time using your provided flight code (e.g. UL, EK, QR, SQ).
• Zero Overtime Waiting Charges: If your flight is delayed by 1 hour, 3 hours, or even 8 hours, your booking remains active and guaranteed. Delays do NOT incur any extra waiting fees or penalties.
• Arrivals Hall Meet-and-Greet: Your driver will be stationed inside the BIA arrivals paging lobby holding a personalized name board displaying your name at the actual touchdown time of your flight.

6. Professional Driver Standards & Licensing

Your personal safety and comfort are governed by rigorous chauffeur requirements:

• Licensed Tourist Chauffeurs: Every driver assigned by Lanka Cab Travels holds a valid commercial driving license issued by the Department of Motor Traffic and is registered with Sri Lankan tourism and passenger transport regulatory authorities.
• Fluent English Proficiency: All drivers are proficient English speakers, vetted for polite etiquette, professional demeanor, and deep regional knowledge of Sri Lankan history, flora, fauna, and local customs.
• Impeccable Vehicle Standards: All fleet vehicles (Sedans, SUVs, KDH Luxury Vans) are modern, fully air-conditioned, regularly sanitized, and covered by comprehensive commercial passenger liability insurance.

7. Passenger Safety, Luggage & Vehicle Conduct

• Seatbelt & Safety Compliance: All passengers must wear seatbelts in accordance with Sri Lankan traffic safety laws. Certified child safety seats are available upon advance request.
• Luggage Capacity: Clients must reserve vehicle categories suitable for their total luggage volume. Extra equipment (surfboards, golf bags, baby strollers) must be disclosed at booking time to allocate suitable vehicle space.
• Non-Smoking Policy: To maintain fresh, hygienic air quality for international travelers and families, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside all Lanka Cab Travels vehicles. Comfort stops can be made anytime upon request.

8. Governing Law & 24/7 Concierge Assistance

These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and governed by the legal framework of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably through our dedicated tourist customer care channels.
